that it’s important that one keeps that in mind to retain a balance.
If you could go back to the beginning is there anything you would do differently?
Apart from the marketing blip
at the beginning I can not imagine changing any thing other than to keep things fresh and move with the times but also try to be individual.
What is the main piece of advice you could give to run a successful B&B?
I think quality, providing a genuine
warm welcome, deciding where you want to direct your marketing and making sure guests relax and enjoy their time during their stay are the most important aspects to get right. If you are ticking all these boxes, then the rest will follow. After we set up
our Bed & Breakfast, we were quickly recognised by “Which?” through recommendation by guests, followed by numerous awards and for the last few years have held a Gold award to our Five Star Grading. Peace in a lot of ways has
become a priority and that also is what we aim to give.
