AQHA Prevails in Cloning Lawsuit On October 26, the United
States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit entered an order denying the plaintiffs’ petition for rehearing of the opinion that rendered judgment for the American Quarter Horse Asso- ciation in the cloning lawsuit. New Report from Robin Glenn Pedigrees In 2014, AQHA pur-
chased Robin Glenn Pedigrees, the industry’s premier sale cata- log company, to enhance member services. The RGP database records money earn- ers in all types of events including western pleasure, hunter under saddle, halter,
cutting, reining, reined cow horse, ranch horse, team pen- ning, ranch sorting and other events. For the first time in industry history, a four-genera- tion dam’s produce report, fea- turing money earners in all per- formance factions, is available at
www.RobinGlennPedigrees.com via Robin Glenn Pedigrees’ 32- year-old database. For this report, users can choose the pro- duce of one, two or three dams. The report will furnish detailed performance information on each dam and her foals, grand- foals and great-grandfoals. To ensure everyone has the oppor- tunity to try the new reports at no charge, RGP recently provid- ed a $20 credit into the accounts of all existing RGP users and will provide a $20 credit to all new RGP users. Customizable sire reports are also now avail- able online, and RGP’s innova- tive “nicking” (best cross) reports are rapidly becoming a must-have breeder resource. RGP is continually developing new electronic services for horsemen, and future plans include an online “black-type” pedigree that combines AQHA points and awards with RGP data.
