Finals back to the Ancaster Fairgrounds for the 4th consecutive year. With amazing crowd turnout and support; the finals were once again a fan favorite. 3 grueling days of competition brought huge
accomplishments and some heartbreaking moments. We watched as arena records were broken for a sec- ond year in a row, event rookies dominating and juniors taking the spotlight. 54 Cowboys and Cow- girls brought their A game and represented Ontario vying for their chance at that Gold Buckle. Rod Weese once again claimed the Finals and

Team Roping was captured by Ross Scully (header) and Arturo Gallegos (Heeler) with the fastest time of all 3 go’s and Tie Down claimed by Jarod Nooren winning all 3 rounds of the Finals. Junior barrel racing was won by Melanie Berube of Kapuskaing. She came into the finals sit-
ting in the #2 position, won all 3 rounds and finished her year as both the OFR and Year End Champion. Crowd favorite junior bull riding was won by Brett Timmermans, winning round 1.
