and discovering some great restau- rants (e.g.: THE WINDING STAIR and THE WOOLLEN MILLS). I saw more fantastic (and recogniz- able) historical/architectural sites (I know where Strongbow is buried), but mostly I just enjoyed wandering around and meeting some of the nic- est people anywhere.
So if ya go to Dublin, (and you should), you will recognize the his- tory, place names and pubs. The city is easy to get around and you do not need a car (they drive on the wrong side of the road anyway), you just need to wander. I would recommend that you find a pub as a base (I liked NEALONS), bring good shoes and a smile because the people you meet will be the friendliest folks any- where.
