LINDA DAWSON Activa Healthcare
To Linda, going the extra mile is the norm. She has become an essential part of all aspects of training within Activa Healthcare which has had a dramatic effect on the patient’s quality of life through informed delivery of products from pharmacists. Linda is described as an inspiration to her customers and also her peers who look to her as the pinnacle of how to deliver a true service. Linda has been instrumental in the development and deliverance of Actvia Healthcare’s eLearning package which has 35 free modules on wound care and compression. Now approaching 30 years of continued service to Pharmacies, which has seen Linda develop her skill set to make her performance to always be in the top 3 in Activa with the majority being at number 1.
JOHN MURPHY Numark
John Murphy has worked within the Numark Group for over 5 years now. Since day one, his enthusiasm and willingness to help and support Numark members with all aspects of their business has been infectious. He joined the company working for Phoenix on the wholesale side of the business informing and supporting members on their wholesale deals, discounts and deliveries. He quickly gained an understanding of the industry and his willingness to progress and learn more about how he could support contractors in NI naturally saw him gravitate across to the support and guidance that the Numark membership can bring to its members. This willingness has seen John progress with his knowledge of all aspects of pharmacy, from training and CPD support, insurance and financial matters, retail and over the counter support, to monitored dosage and specials endorsing.
EILEEN JOHNSTON United Drug Sangers
Eileen is a great ambassador for United Drug Sangers, now in her 25th year of working for the company. Before joining UDS she worked for Dobbin and Stewart in Belfast. In total Eileen has been employed in the Pharmaceutical sector for 33 years and her experience and the relationships she has established have proved invaluable. Eileen is a member of a busy telesales team which handles over 1500 calls per day which can be very demanding and stressful. Eileen works well as part of the team and gets on very well with her colleague’s. She has to be able to communicate with customers and deal with their enquiries in a professional and efficient manner. The service element of UDS business is essential and Eileen realises this and as mentioned by others who have nominated her she is prepared to go that extra mile and see any problems brought to a satisfactory conclusion as she understands that what we do has a knock on effect to the customer and their patient.
