his month’s theme of Working Together resonates with me as I think about the measure of success Natural Awaken- ings magazine has enjoyed in Northeastern Pennsylvania
and Warren County, New Jersey because I am confident that our publication has helped our readers enjoy a richer quality of life. While personally rewarding, I know that our eight years of publishing would not have been possible without many people working together to accomplish our mission. Our editorial team is second to none. Alison Chabonais and Linda Sechrist offer a national perspective that brings us the latest in natural health and environmental thought. Beth Davis and Martin Miron provide quality edits and local articles in a blink of an eye. Marlaina Donato and Elisa Smith have recently joined our editorial team to interview and write engaging articles about our fascinating local heroes. A shout out also goes to our highly creative graphic team that has consistently raised
the level of our look and feel. Marci Molina, Patrick Floresca, Linda Bowers and Wendy Ronga lend their creative skill in developing appealing print graphics and cutting-edge newsletters. Our 40,000 monthly copies are produced locally by Times-News Printing, a valuable partner in Lehighton that goes above and beyond to deliver a quality product. The moment the issue comes off the press, a small army of distributors
begins their work. Shawn Bogert, Jeff Honing, Nicole Getz, Greg Price, Christine Schoeller, Jack Marchese and Bill Kenia happily deliver our publication to almost 2,000 locations in 11 counties through rain, snow, sleet and hail. I am grateful for everyone’s efforts in bringing this message to our readers. Of course, Natural Awakenings would not exist without our advertisers. Their belief in our mission makes everything possible. When you need a resource for home, health or travel, we know that you will call on them. This is the collaborative success that epitomizes working together. Let’s all
acknowledge this abundant good and the opportunity to create a powerful com- munity that works for all.
In gratitude,
