Healthy Alternatives is clearly marking their shelves with Verified GMO-free labels so shoppers can be assured of the product ingredients. “We evaluate every product that we place on our shelves, even vitamins and cosmetics” states store manager Ann Sheridan. “We are asking all of our ven- dors to tell us if their products contain GMO ingredients. We recently dropped several well-known brands because they could not verify they were GMO free.
