IMPROVING THE HEALTHCARE OF THE NATION

Outstanding Contribution to Pharmacy

Nominations for this award are accepted.

The Outstanding Contribution to Pharmacy Award showcases and celebrates achievement among the community pharmacy sector in Northern Ireland.

As well as highlighting the ever increasing contribution pharmacists make to the wider healthcare arena, this Award is aimed at identifying appropriate role models to inspire and motivate others.

This Award is aimed at finding and recognising an individual who has had a sustained career, which has not only had a very significant contribution to the pharmacy sector, but also has been an inspiration to peers.

The winner will be a figure who has had most impact on the pharmacy profession and is likely to have impacted on the working lives of most pharmacists over the course of the year. The winner will have shown evidence of leadership, determination and clarity of thought.

NOMINATIONS WELCOMED This can be an individual who has dedicated a lifetime of service to pharmacy or a young pharmacy team member with exceptional talent. The Ulster Chemists’ Association will be responsible for compiling a shortlist from the nominations and deciding

SUPPORTED BY

EMIS Health is delighted to sponsor the Pharmacy in Focus Outstanding Contribution to Pharmacy award. It was an easy decision for us to sponsor an award here at Ulster Chemists' Association President's Ball and Pharmacy in Focus Awards with so many well respected figures in pharmacy in attendance.

At EMIS Health we are passionate about helping you improve patient care, our community pharmacy system ProScript is used by more pharmacies in the UK than any other system, supporting you in ensuring patients receive the medicines they need safely and cost effectively. The competition in this award category will be fierce due to the calibre of nominees. I am sure that every person nominated in this category would richly deserve the award but unfortunately there can be only one winner and I certainly do not envy the judges in having to make that decision.

I wish all nominees in all categories the very best of luck.
