The Pharmacy Support Member of the Year Award seeks those outstanding individuals who have made a significant contribution to community pharmacy in Northern Ireland.


This Award recognises excellence in knowledge and/or service to pharmacy patients and customers.


Nominations for this category can be made through self-nomination, by colleagues or by pharmacy business owners.


WHO CAN ENTER? The category encompasses those working as Pharmacy Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Dispensers or Category Specialists such as those working in cosmetics or photography.


GENERAL AWARDS CRITERIA • Enthusiasm and commitment to the enhancement of community pharmacy in Northern Ireland


• Exceptional quality above and beyond what is expected


• An ability to overcome challenges in pursuit of goals


• How performance has been measured and benchmarked. How successful was the project?


JUDGES WILL BE LOOKING


FOR THOSE WHO HAVE: • Been involved in the development of a new service


• Went above and beyond to sell the benefits of pharmacy


• Changed or re-structured the way their colleagues work in a way to reduce work load or improve patient care


• Piloted, run or developed a health campaign in their pharmacy

Innovation & Change in Pharmacy Practice


Entry can be by nomination or by self- entry.


As its name asserts, the Innovation & Change in Pharmacy Practice Award’s principal aim is to reward innovation within community pharmacy.


The judging panel will be looking for ways in which a project is both innovative and successful.


This Award identifies individuals and teams working within community pharmacy in Northern Ireland whose ideas or inventions have, or could lead to, improvement in the patient experience in all areas of care throughout their community.


Applications are invited from both the independent and chain sectors


WHO CAN ENTER? This category is open to all pharmacists and their teams working in either independent or chain pharmacies. Previous Innovation & Change in Pharmacy Practice Award entrants, including winners, are also welcome to submit an entry. All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts.

Please use financial data wherever possible (percentages, ratios, graphic images etc.), as well as other statistics to show how your project has brought added value, profits, customer satisfaction improvements, productivity increases or any other benefit relevant to this award category.
