Used to determine the energy efficiency of an incandescent lamp. Apart from the lamp, the container contains a resistor (with the same resistance as the lamp). The container is filled with water and the amount of energy that is converted into heat is calculated from the temperature incre- ase of the system. The part of the electric energy that doesn’t heat the water must have radiated away from the system. Dimensions: Height 120 mm, diameter 70 mm.

Lux meter YF 1065


This digital lux meter is a robust and handy item provided with a separate safe-sealed photodetector for maximum stability. The photodetector has good spatial response and will thus respond to illumination from all directions.


An analog output signal is provided for connection a data logger. This is usful when experimenting e.g. with photosynthesis. Supplied complete with a battery and a convenient carrying case.


Measuring ranges: 0-200 lux, 0-2000 lux, 0-20000 lux. The angular response follows the cosine response with the following deviations: 30°: < ±2%. 60°: < ±7%. 80°: < ±5%. Provided with a “hold” function for convenient measurement. Analog output:
