This apparatus is designed to be used with an electronic counter to determine the fall time for a freely falling steel ball. The apparatus consists of a release mechanism which also acts as the start switch, a landing pad which acts as the stop switch and various gold plated steel balls. The release me- chanism is provided with two connectors for 4 mm safety banana plugs for connection to the counter start input. A 10 mm mounting rod for mounting the mechanism on a lab stand is supplied. The landing pad is also provided with two safety connectors for connection to the counter stop input.

Microphone 2485.10
The microphone is intended for the measurement of sound frequencies, the speed of sound and the recording of sound for Fourier transformation. The microphone itself is very small and is therefore very suita- ble for measurements of sound interference. It is supplied with a one meter cable with a 6 pole DIN plug and connects directly to the electronic counter type 2002.50 or student timer type 2002.60. The microphone can also be connected to an oscilloscope or other measuring instruments via a type 2515.60 power supply. The frequency range is 20-20.000 Hz. Supplied with a 10 mm support rod. (Stand base not included.) Dimensions: Length 105 mm, greatest diameter 24 mm.
