Energy • 137 Solar cell panels with screw terminals
These solar cells share the same overall finish - making them ideal when students experiment with different sizes and inve- stigate single cells versus series connections. They all have screw terminals on the back, eliminating the need for solde- ring. The terminals also accomodate standard cables using crocodile clips. (The marking on the back of the panels may vary from, say 0.5 V to 0.58 V – this is just the difference between nominal voltage and open circuit voltage. The table below specifies nominal voltages.)

Motor for solar cell Can be used for demonstration of the electrical current produced by solar cells – or any other device that produces electricity that fits the specifications below. Provided with propeller and 4 mm conncectors for safety cables. Specifications: 0.2 - 3 V DC, 0 - 0.5 A
5005.00 Motor for solar cell 5005.10 4885.44 Low torque motor
This very low torque motor is mounted on a rod and supplied with a small propeller and protective rear panel to protect the blades against breakage. The 1.5 V motor will start to turn at voltages as low as 35 mV. The nominal power dissipation is less than 0.3 W.
