GM tube with BNC connector This is our standard Geiger-Müller tube for detection of alpha, beta and gamma radiation. The tube is mounted in a plastic housing and supplied with a 10 mm diameter support rod. The protective cap included should be removed when working with alpha or beta radiation while gamma radiation easily pe- netrates the cap. GM tubes with BNC connector are compatible with GM counter 5136.00 (and older models like 5135.30 and 5135.35).
5125.15 GM tube, BNC Large area GM tube with BNC connector
This extra sensitive GM tube has a large window with a dia- meter of nearly 3 cm, making it suitable for experiments with radioactive minerals, radon daughters and other low activity sources. Alpha, beta and gamma radiation can be detected. The housing is supplied with a protective cap as well as a pro- tective grid in front of the window. The cap should be removed when working with alpha or beta radiation while gamma radia- tion easily penetrates the cap. A mount with a Ø 10 mm steel rod is included. GM tubes with BNC connector are compatible with GM counter 5136.00 (and older models like 5135.30 and 5135.35).

This Geiger-Müller sensor can be used for detection of alpha, beta and gamma radiation. The sensor has a built-in high voltage supply, requiring only 5 V DC through the 6.3 mm jack connector. The GM tube is mounted in a plastic housing and supplied with a 10 mm diameter support rod. The protective cap included should be removed when working with alpha or beta radiation while gamma radiation easily penetrates the cap. The Geiger-Müller tube in this detector is the same as the tube in 5125.15. GM sensors with jack connector are compatible with GM counter 5136.00, universal counter 2002.50 and various data logging equipment.
