Another Successful SMC Event Hit Right Out of the Ballpark!
Texas Bash was a HUGE HIT, thanks to all who came out to Texas Bash. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the evening cheering on the Astros to a huge 10-0 win over the Mariners! A special thanks to all the sponsors and everyone who helped to make the event a homerun.
Every Diaper Counts KELLER WILLIAMS
The SMC is focusing on giving back this year, so the board decided to host a Diaper Drive to benefit The Diaper Foun- dation. The Diaper Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or- ganization that helps provide diaper assistance and other services for Houston area children. Through awareness, ed- ucation, and material aid to young mothers, the association aims to keep every child clean, dry, and healthy—one dia- per at a time.
SILVER
Did you know that in low income households, babies often spend an entire day or longer in a single diaper because the family cannot afford to buy new ones? This puts children at risk for health issues and abuse. Federally funded programs including SNAP Food Stamps and The Woman, Infants, and Children (WIC), do not cover the cost of diapers for low in- come parents. A sufficient supply of diapers can cost over $100 per month per child. To learn more about The Diaper Foundation visit

All GHBA member companies are encouraged to host a Dia- per Drive for their employees between now and August 26. Companies must RSVP their participation by August 7.
Companies that meet the minimum level of participation will be entered into a drawing for a chance to be our guest and receive a complimentary table at this year’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards. See the ad on the opposite page for more details on how to participate or contact Mel Audain at 281-664-1428 or
