Your donations can help improve our local hospitals
Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust Charity (HEFT Charity) is the charity for our local hospitals: Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital Sutton Coldfield and Solihull Hospital. Our aim is to raise funds to enhance and improve patient care and facilities so that our patients receive world class care and pioneering treatments. The services provided by the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust Hospitals are recognised as being among the best in the country.
Thanks to the passion and efforts of our supporters, we are able to provide our hospitals with leading-edge equipment so that our exceptional doctors and nurses can improve diagnosis and treatments and continue to provide patients with world-class care. We have improved the lives of thousands of patients by funding life-changing and potentially life-saving projects, from purchasing large items of specialist medical equipment for our Cancer Wards to buying new toys for the Children's Wards.
We continue to support our hospitals by funding activities for the welfare of our patients, as well as purchasing replacement or additional medical equipment for the wards.
Through your donations and money collected, we can:
• Fund state-of-the-art equipment and supporting ground-breaking research into the development of new treatments;
• Support a holistic approach to patients care, such as the Healing Arts Programme;
• Purchase patient comforts, such as toys, books, DVDs and supporting arts and crafts activities;
• Fund improvements to the hospital environment to make it more welcoming to patients and contributing to the rebuilding and refurbishment of the units;
• Provide facilities for patient’s family members, such as parent accommodation on the Children’s Ward.
Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust Charity supports over 400 different wards and departments across our hospitals. We understand that our patients and supporters often have a very close connection to certain wards which is why we have now made it easier to donate directly to the area of your choice, simply and safely.
