Amadeus tastes success M

ulti-award winning caterer, Amadeus – part of the NEC Group – has won an exclusive five-year contract to provide

A bioenergy boost for Aston

Aston University says its research into bioenergy is already paying dividends. The university has published

a report from its European Bioenergy Research Institute (EBRI) which shows that it has already had a £6 million impact on the West Midlands economy, with more than 50 jobs created in the bioenergy sector in the last three years. Bioenergy is renewable

energy made from materials derived from biological sources, and EBRI is a world leading centre for its research. Four years ago it was awarded more than £8 million of match funding from the European Regional Development Fund to help develop a regional bioenergy supply chain. During the past three years,

EBRI has worked with more than 100 West Midlands companies from sectors including manufacturing, engineering and consultancy and this has had a direct impact on the development of existing and new businesses in the bioenergy sector.
