Get a march on the international tattoo

Britain’s biggest indoor international tattoo, with over 1,000 performers, returns to Barclaycard Arena (formerly the NIA) in Birmingham this November to honour “the few” and commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. In a three-hour spectacle of pomp and pageantry, the event will bring

together marching bands, exciting displays and culminate in the spectacular Grand Finale featuring all the performers. International marching bands from Sweden, France, Hungary, Italy, and

from our own British forces led by the Band of the Royal Air Force will join massed Scottish pipe bands, standard bearers and dog display teams in a show for all the family. Complementing the music of the massed bands will be the exciting displays including the RMRNC Inter-Service Field Gun Competition, featuring the Royal Navy, Army and RAF, which will demonstrate how both sheer strength and agility are needed to control the heavy guns as they race each other. The 2015 Birmingham International Tattoo comes to the Barclaycard Arena on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November.
