A life in books


chain of events that led to Margery’s unexpected reunion with “my Norwegian”. The ship stopped at Narvik, where he was born, and spent his childhood. On a whim, she made some enquiries and his name and phone number were soon found on the internet. She was told he was living in Trondheim which, unbelievably, was the ship’s next port of call. She called the


number and a love spanning five decades was rekindled. “It was beyond my wildest expectations that Odd would remember me with such intensity after so many years, and that we would fall in love again,” said Margery.


“I hope my story will show people that


it’s never too late and that you should never give up.”


Margery’s first book, Tree of Life, which relates the story of the European School of Osteopathy, is published in paperback by IndePenPress, price £12.99.


Her second book, Full Circle, a true story of love lost and rediscovered, is published by Troubador and available in paperback at £10.99. It is also available as an Ebook on Amazon.
