August 2 Summer Vintage Fair at Chiddingstone Castle Put on your gladrags to browse, shop and delight in a huge array of vintage stalls – and possibly win a spot prize for your outfit. Listen to music from the

August 7, 14, 21 & 28 Friday Fun Days, Sissinghurst Castle Garden Join the team of rangers each Friday from 2-3.30pm to discover something new. August 7 is mini raft and kite making; August 14 - pond dipping to find out what lives below the surface in the castle ponds and August 21 is tree adventure time. Minibeast safari, Oare Gunpowder Works Country Park, Faversham Half-way into the school holidays and the kids are getting restless? Why not head over to the country park and let them run off some energy while searching for bugs and beasties in the forest? One of several activities being organised by park ranger Simon Ginnaw during the holidays, this two-hour trail takes youngsters on a bug safari through the woods and grassy glades, for just £3 per child.

Every Friday from noon to 4pm from July to the end of autumn, you can drop into Blooming Green and select a container full of fresh flowers and foliage for £10 to take home and arrange to your heart’s desire!
