“The benefit our community receives from HomeAid’s mission touches us all. We anticipate a huge turnout and that will be a win-win for everyone.”
HomeAid’s Picture This exhibit featuring photos taken by homeless youth was on display at Falcon Point Country Club through May 22 (pictured above).
Funds from the Weekend of Giving will go toward renovations of the cafeteria at the Krause Children’s Center (also pictured above), a Katy area residential treatment center for severely troubled girls ages 12 to 17. Brandon Lynch, president of Keechi Creek, is the project’s Builder Captain.
Guests will be eligible for many opportunities including a Member- for-a-Day golf certificate that gives a free round of golf at a variety of courses throughout Houston. “This tournament gives non Falcon Point members a chance to play a beautiful golf course and a top notch tennis facility,” said Bette Moser, executive director of HomeAid.
“We encourage anyone who likes tennis, golf or parties to register for the weekend festivities in July. We are gearing up to begin the Krause renovations, so the funds raised will be coming at a critical time for the project. We can’t thank The Club at Falcon Point enough for their generosity.”
A toiletry drive, sponsored by the club, is also underway that is collecting essentials for Krause residents.

HomeAid Benefits from the Club at Falcon Point Fundraiser H
omeAid Houston has been named one of three charities that will
benefit from the 2015 ClubCorp Charity Classic Weekend fundraiser hosted by The Club at Falcon Point. A Weekend of Giving includes three days of festivities open to the public. The events include a doubles tennis tournament and after- match social, a Red, White & Boots “Texas
Formal” Gala, and a golf tournament.
The Club at Falcon Point membership selected HomeAid Houston as its local charity to benefit alongside the two ClubCorp charities, Augie’s Quest and Employee Partner Care.
“HomeAid was an easy choice as a beneficiary of the Weekend of Giving,” said Linda Riehl, tournament organizer.
