As we are out delivering this issue, the


weekend of the Fling is ahead of us! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the event, it’s a varied few days of music and family entertainment. Pick up one the leaflets around town detailing the full itinerary, have a look at the website (www. dunblanefling.com) or look on Facebook and come and have some fun.


There’s the chance for a night out and a good giggle as St Blane’s Drama Group offer us an evening of comedy. June sees the return of Forth Valley Open Studios, where you can visit a number of artists and marvel at all the local talent we have. We also have a number of talented young people looking for your support as they are offered the opportunity to represent Scotland


at the


Cadet and Junior Commonwealth Fencing Championships in South Africa!


Our Post Office is getting its makeover this month too and every effort is being made to ensure you are not inconvenienced too much whilst they upgrade the facilities. And we are welcoming the Hair Chair to the High Street so we wish them every success in their venture.


This next issue of theWire is a joint edition for July and August, so remember to send in your What’s On & Community News for both months by the 10th June.
