New Features in LoadMaster™ PowerBroker™ & LoadMaster™ LTL

eginning this year, McLeod Software will identify our functional product versions
with a numbering system that reflects the calendar year of the release along with a separate digit that identifies the sequence of the releases in that calendar year. So this first release of our products in 2015 is version 15.1, and the next release this calendar year will be version 15.2 later this fall. We plan to continue the blistering pace of new functional development, and the level of investment in our core products is at an all-time high.
New McLeod Container Module for Your Intermodal Business
A new version of the McLeod Container Module for both LoadMaster™ and PowerBroker™ systems has been released with version 15.1. This new

version includes a wide range of improvements for carriers and brokers who manage all types of intermodal shipments. A new master order screen allows for easier and quicker entry and multiple orders plus return movements for empty containers. This master order concept in LoadMaster and PowerBroker allows for a single master order that might have multiple containers, multiple deliveries, multiple dray moves, and possibly several rail moves.
The Container Planning and Container Brokerage Planning screens make it easy to plan, track, and dispatch both containers and chassis. The system has features to keep track of free days, cut off
dates, due dates and times. Cost control tools are incorporated with notifications to help manage charges based on due dates. The new container and chassis pools keep track of each type of equipment and location, to make it easier to manage those assets.
On the billing side, the per diem, demurrage and pool fee schedules eliminate many manual entries. Automated reconciliation of container and chassis invoices from an Excel import will speed the matching against dispatch data to create AP vouchers. Users can bill by container booking number against a master order or single order and group summary invoices by the master order.
