Paramount Sleep Unveils Hypnos Luxury Line at High Point Market By Christopher Schriever

After a year in the making, Paramount Sleep will formally introduce its new line of luxury bedding, Hypnos, at the Spring High Point Market. This joint venture with Hypnos, the centu- ry-old British bedding manufacturer known for merging traditional skills with innovation, allows Paramount to combine UK and US design expertise. The company has been gathering US retailer and consumer insights on the new program prior to formally launch- ing the collection. Paramount is the only li- censee for Hypnos in the US and is the first to manufacture the company’s products ac- cording to British standards.

Eight Hypnos models will debut at the High Point Market: Coral Extra Firm, Coral Plush, Juliet Luxury Firm, Alexandra Firm, Al- exandra Plush, Crystal Pillow Top, Sapphire Euro Top Firm, and Sapphire Euro Top Plush. “The Hypnos line provides consumers with options for personalizing their comfort choic- es,” said Paramount Sleep President Richard Fleck. “Features such as Zip and Link Service and a custom headboard option allow custom- ers to express their individual preferences.” Features of the new luxury bedding line include:

Zip and Link Service

The ultimate in custom comfort, Zip and Link Service allows the splitting of a large bed into two single beds, allowing for each side to be tailored to each sleeper’s prefer- ence. This service also offers consumers in small spaces such as lofts, historic homes, or high-density areas the opportunity to buy bigger luxury beds.

Headboard Option

Consumers may choose a customized fabric covering from a multidtude of fabrics.

100% Sustainability The beds contain no polyurethane foam and utilize natural materials, such as recy-

cled steel and exotic fibers that are being introduced for first time in the US. Materi- als include the exclusive Hevea Flex Latex, Camel Hair, Horse Hair, Joma Wool, and Joma Alpaca Wool.

Advanced Spring System

Featuring the exclusive Q Spring, a pock- eted coil system with nested center coils for added coil density in the middle one third, every bed has ultra-high coil count with at least 1,000 individual coils, going up to 5,000 in the top-end beds.

Adjustable Base with Motion Leggett & Platt’s power foundation provides the ultimate in custom luxury performance. The base includes an ultra-quiet high per- formance motor, dual three-speed massage, two programmable custom positions, de- signer wooden legs, furniture-grade uphol- stery, a back-lit wireless remote, under-bed lighting and USB ports conveniently located on each side.

A Royal Warrant

Hypnos holds a Royal Warrant for HM Queen Elizabeth II for bedding and uphol- stery manufacturers and is the only luxury bed maker to actively supply the Royal family, Royal Household and the Royal residences. A Royal Warrant demonstrates the very highest standards in excellence, quality, service, and innovation.

“During Las Vegas Market, nearly 40 top bedding retailers previewed the new Hypnos line and offered their thoughts on how we might work together,” said Fleck. “We heard ideas on how to differentiate sleep shops in an overcrowded marketplace. We discussed how true luxury should be defined. But most importantly, we learned that authenticity is missing from many of today’s bedding of- ferings. Retailers are looking for a story to tell—and Hypnos may very well fit the bill.” Visit paramountsleep.com and hypnosbeds.com
