Therapedic International Brings the Islands to High Point With Its Tommy Bahama Home Mattress Collection

Featuring conven- tional innerspring, hybrid and specialty-foam models, Therapedic designed the 10-bed col- lection through an exclusive licensing agree- ment with the island-inspired lifestyle brand. “The early results of our launch are very encouraging and exceeding our company’s expectations. names, aesthetic and comfort all suggest a relaxed island-inspired sanctuary. Each
model is made with innovative materials sourced in the USA and features the com- pany’s new non-toxic, eco-friendly “Floating Foam” core. This breathable core mimics the sensation of floating while an offset floating center provides more resilient and respon- sive support from the lower shoulder to the hip region.
About each model’s details Borreggine explained, “We worked closely with the Tommy Bahama team to design a line that captured the relaxed elegance the Tommy Bahama brand represents.” The innerspring offerings—Gone Coastal, available in plush and firm, Pier Pressure and Shore Thing—are made with a beauti- ful stretch knit top panel embellished with a mini palm tree design consistent with the island-inspired image of the brand. Its
three hybrid offerings—Pure Paradise, Bay Dreamer and Long Weekend—tout a lattice designed ticking inspired by the palm tree motif on Tommy Bahama’s ready-to-wear shirts. The third, top-of-the-line specialty models—Nevis, Barbados and Grand Cay- man—feature a topper made with Gel-Trix foam with thermal regulating gel pods to whisk heat away from the body and show- case zippered covers embellished with swaying palm fronds and the Tommy Ba- hama logo. Shifman to Introduce New Platform Bed Program at High Point Market

In addition to de- buting this newest addition to their line, Shif- man will also feature improved showroom displays and advertising, emphasizing natu- ral materials and long lasting comfort. Previously, all Shifman mattresses were designed to work in conjunction with real working boxsprings, displayed in the galler- ies of high-end furniture stores as mattress and boxspring sets.
