Fresh & Sweet Regina’s Fresh & Sweet, featured on “You Gotta Eat

Here,” makes cupcakes with mountains of icing; fluffy pancakes in decadent flavour pairings like Skor cheesecake; homemade gelato and gourmet candied apples, among other lavish baked treats. And if those images don’t already get you drooling, its lunch fare will. Indulgent burgers, macaroni and cheese pani- nis and a rotating cast of specialty sandwiches and wraps pair well with its hand-cut fries or soups made fresh that day.

Bushwakker Brewpub If custom craft beer is what you fancy, Regina’s

Warehouse District is home to one of Canada’s tastiest brewpubs. A German immigrant began the Bushwakker journey when he arrived and sipped the lighter Canadian brew, wishing to return to the full taste of European suds. The Bushwakker Brewpub offers nine flagship beers, two guest draughts and a rotating tap of special import draughts year round. The Bushwakker Brewery prepares 20 beers plus a blackberry mead and releases them seasonally. The brewpub is located in an historic 100-year-old build- ing and has a ghost story. Ask them about it.
