Long before this year’s Golf Tournament was actually held, the 2014
Golf Committee, The Collier County Fair Board and their staff committed to making it a success. Through hard work, dedication and time-they did just that. During the months before the tournament many conference calls were
made, emails, begging, pleading and soliciting were done by all. There was even some guava jelly making thrown in between. As a result sponsors gave, teams played and a great time was had by all despite the rain. And rain it did, so much so that the winner was determined by a putt-off on the dining room floor. Which of course only left this crew begging for more. In the end the event was a success, much money was raised
