Spotlight On Our Associates The 2014 edition of The Belmont Magic Show adds a new look

to our self-contained stage. In addition, lots of exciting new illu- sions will wow Fair guests. Award-winning showmanship, big TV style magic, lots of audience participation and live domestic ani- mals add up to a fast-moving, crowd pleasing show. Many fairs routinely book our show year after year and vendors want loca- tions near us because we draw and hold large audiences of sen- iors, families, college students and teens. Many of those fans return annually, and bring their friends to see our Broadway style Magic Show. One Florida vendor recently wrote, “An awesome show from start to finish that everyone enjoys." We’re always glad to provide references. We have posted a video of last year’s show on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=8giEkqiC3mY . Though there’s lots of new Magic in our 2014 show, the video captures the feel, spirit and pace of all of our shows – as well as the look and quality of our portable Showmo- bile. You may also want to note that last year marked our four-

teenth appearance at the Quick-Chek Festival of Ballooning, the second largest Balloon & Music Festival in the US. We returned for the ninth time to Middletown Grange Fair and our third ap- pearance at the Abington June Fete, Czestochowa Country Fair, Greater Gulf State Fair and North Florida Fair. In addition, the Long Island Bellmore Festival and Colts Neck Fair added our show to their events. We’re reasonably priced, easy to work with and always willing to help with PR. G. L. Berg Attends the Florida Federation of Fairs Annual Convention

by: Tim Stevens On May 15-17, Connie (my wife) and I attended the Annual

Convention of the Florida Federation of Fairs in Naples, held at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The IAFE Zone II Meeting was held in conjunction with the Florida convention with seven Zone II Fairs from outside Florida attending. Three days filled with a trade show, silent & live auctions, talent showcases, workshops, speakers and lots of networking made for a busy and fun event. Two of our agency’s acts had the opportunity to showcase at

the convention. Divas Gone Country (Coyote Wild) took the stage Thursday night as part of the President’s Reception & Party which honored the outgoing Federation President, Gayle Hart, from the Greater Jacksonville Fair. “The Girls” had the audience singing along and enjoying great songs, from their opening num- ber, Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5”, to Tammy Wy- nette’s classic “Stand By Your Man” – and their amazing medley of 23 songs in 2 ½ minutes! At Friday’s luncheon, Comic Jug- gler Alex Clark took the stage – and had the audience roaring with laughter as he wowed the Florida folks with his juggling skills & antics! We had lots of folks stop by our trade show booth to visit about both of our showcase acts and get information on the many family-friendly performers on the G.L. Berg roster of talent. A BIG “Thank You” to all the Florida Fairs! We look forward to working with you – and seeing you next year in St. Augustine! See more at: http://www.glberg.com/ A BIG “Thank You” to all
