As the third build for an advertising company, this Neutrogena-infused 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee needed to play on a simple, temporary setup for six to eight hours at a time. The team welded a large steel frame for the foundation and mount. An XS Power supplemental power battery handled the load and a steel bracket held the battery in place. The spare tire was removed and Phoenix Gold amps were mounted in the spare tire well.


A pair of 10-inch pro audio drivers was mounted directly under the 40-inch LED TV facing the rear of the vehicle. A pair of Phoenix Gold subs ran in a sealed enclo- sure behind the rear seats. A Pioneer touch screen DVD player sent an A/V signal into the DJ mixer, flush-mounted into the trunk floor. The wireless micro- phone transmitter was installed above the subwoofer enclosure for easy access. The Rockford Fosgate Wakeboard


weatherproof speakers were a challenge


to mount without making permanent modifications. The team fabricated fiber- glass and MDF trim panels. Aluminum mounts were held in place by factory roof rail bolts. The entire build was done in four days


and ran for eight weeks without any issues. The vehicle is now back in New Jersey and was returned 100 percent to its stock condition.
