DD Audio has added the M.45 to the M Series subwoofer amplifi- ers. The latest addition is fairly compact but packed with power, a company spokesman said. The heat sink footprint is only 6.875 x 6.875 x 2 but easily delivers
over 500 watts of clean power at 1ohm. The amp features discrete class D topology and a well-finned heat sink, allowing it to be mounted without having concerns with heat. Equipped with subsonic and LPF filters, it can be tuned to match enclosures. The M.45 also comes with a remote gain knob equipped with a clipping indicator. MSRP is $289.
