Funky Fridays Begin in June!
Petaluma, CA. ~ Live music of Sonoma Driftwood, danc- ing, art and artists at work, petanque, pickle ball, horse- shoes, line dancing lessons, and a superb silent auction are among the fun activities at the Petaluma Arts Center’s FOR ART’S SAKE, 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., June 28. To benefit the Petaluma Arts Center, Beau- mont Farms will open its doors for an afternoon of art, music and games, or simply relaxing in a chair by the pond, watch- ing clouds float over the olive trees and beautiful Petaluma hills, and listening to ranch residents – the horses, donkeys, chickens and alpaca. Sumptu- ous barbeque, wine and other beverages will be available for purchase. Lunch served by Rasta Dwight Barbeque. Tickets, $30 per person, are available from

Santa Rosa, CA. ~ Sonoma County Library’s 2014 Sum- mer Reading Program Begins June 10. Summer is almost here and with it comes the tra- dition of the Sonoma County Library Summer Reading Pro- gram. Kids and teens have an opportunity to participate. A multitude of prizes and pro- grams will be available and all will be encouraging kids of all ages to keep reading all summer long. The program launches on Tuesday, June 10. Participants can discover new books, make new friends, stay cool and enjoy family-friendly programs by participating in “Fizz Boom Read” for kids and “TeenRead” for teens.
