Springfield College Selected to Host 2017 NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Championship
SPRINGFIeLD COLLeGe has been selected as the host site for the 2017 NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Championship. The 2017 finals will be held April 28-30 at Springfield College’s Blake Arena. Division III formally adopted the NCAA men’s
volleyball championship as the Association’s 89th championship at the 2011 NCAA Convention. The NCAA has sponsored a National Collegiate Men’s Volleyball Championship (all divisions) since 1970, but sponsorship of men’s volleyball in Division III eclipsed the 50 institution mark required for a single division to conduct its own championship. Springfield College served as the host for the

inaugural 2012 NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Championship, and the home squad captured the title in a three-game sweep of Carthage College. Last season, the Pride defended its national championship at Nazareth College in a three-set win over the host Golden Flyers.
