A securing strap on a lorry parked in Eaton Place, Lark- field, was cut. Nothing was taken. A van parked off Forstal
Road, Aylesford, was broken into and items taken. A lawnmower and a strim-
merwere taken from the garage of a property in Ford Lane, Trottiscliffe. A vehicle parked in Spencer
Place, Kings Hill, was keyed and splattered with eggs. There was a burglary to a property in Primrose Drive, Ditton, and items were taken. The shed of a property in
Ford Lane, Trottiscliffe,was broken into and a lawnmower taken. It was believed another shed belonging to another property was also targeted. A ride-on lawn mower was
taken from a shed belonging to a property in Church Road, Offham. Outside lights were damaged
at a property in Ford Lane, Trottiscliffe. A man distracted staff in a
shop in the High Street, West Malling, asking for goods to be wrapped. They later found that cash was missing. Enquiries are ongoing. Graffiti was sprayed on play-
ing equipment near the village hall in New Road, East Malling.

Waiter murder case FOUR Lithuanian men have been charged with themurder of an Italian waiter who died after an attack at his bedsit in Maidstone. Aleksandras Zuravliovas (26), of Beaumont
Road, Maidstone; Tomas Gelezinis (30), of Lower Stone Street, Maidstone; Saulius Ta- moliunas (23), of Union Street, Maidstone; and Linas Zidonis (21), of no fixed abode, are charged with the murder of Joele Leotta (20) late on October 20. Joele, who lived in Lower Stone Street,
above the Vesuvius restaurant where he worked, was rushed to King’s College Hospi- tal, London, but died later. The men appeared at Medway Magistrates’
