Two-year driving ban for ‘prolific offender’

A WOMAN described as one of Tonbridge and Malling’s most prolific offenders has been back in court after threatening to dam- age a car and run over a PCSO. Amee Keller-Bond (21), of Borough Green,

is serving 118 days in prison for breaching an anti-social behaviour order. She ap- peared at Maidstone Magistrates Court in October where she was sentenced for ha- rassment and threats to cause criminal dam- age.

The two offences date back to February

when, inWest Malling, Keller-Bond threat- ened to damage a car. She was also charged with causing harassment towards a PCSO in TunbridgeWells, who she threatened to hit with her car if she saw him on his bicycle.

Burglary charge A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been remanded in custody, having been charged with burglary. A member of the West Kent Neighbourhood Watch group reported a group of youths tak- ing a television from a property in The Heath, East Malling. The offenders dropped the TV and made off in a car. Police officers found that a

door had been forced, and an Ipod and silver bracelet were missing. . Three youths were arrested.

A 16-year-old boy from Wool- wich has been charged. The other youths, have been bailed until November 12, while en- quiries continue.

Litterpickers love where they live NEARLY 40 adults, children, dogs and toddlers in pushchairs joined in a big clean-up of Larkfield in the Love Where You Live campaign. This is the fifth event that the campaign group has put together. Organiser SarahM’Grady said that since Love Where You Live started in October, 2011, the volume of rubbish being collected has dramatically reduced, which shows that the campaign is working.

Shewas given a two-year driving ban, and sentenced to 28 days for each of the two new offences, to run concurrently with her current term. The district judge also imposed a re- straining order against Keller-Bond that pre- vents her from contacting any Kent Police officer or staff member unless in an emer- gency or by prior arrangement. InspectorNick Sparkes said: “Keller-Bond

is one of Tonbridge andMalling's most pro- lific repeat offenders. I am delighted with the actions taken by the district judge in this case which not only sends amessage to her that anti-social behaviour will not be toler- ated but also protects both the police and thewider public by restricting her ability to

travel once she is released from prison.” Keller-Bond was sentenced to 28 days in

jail on September 23 for breaching her Asbo. That conviction also activated a 90- day suspended sentenced, which she had received on June 11. The Asbo, which runs until December 13,

states Keller-Bond must not enter West Malling, other than to access the A20 or A228, nor visit Tesco at Lunsford Park; Asda at Kings Hill; or the Kings Hill Secu- rity building in Tower View. She is also banned from being a passenger or a driver in any vehicle (excluding public transport) with pals Leonie Vicky Scott or Chelsea Shannon Scott.
