The range at the Bon Accord is


remarkable. It includes some of the most valuable Scotch malt whiskies, as well as special bottlings, experimental styles and more. And in recent years its list of world whiskies has expanded considerably. The Bon has two highly active whisky societies and also hosts the Glasgow Whisky Club, arranges visits, tastings and special events, and makes use of social media to promote the bar and its whisky.

Whiski Rooms is a blend of traditional and contemporary that provides three distinct operations in a single business: a whisky-specialising bar/ bistro with a wide-ranging collection of Scotch and world whiskies, a whisky shop, and a dedicated whisky events and tasting area. Judges were very impressed by the venue’s extensive programme of whisky events and by its online and social media work and its innovative whisky and food links.
