He raises money for charity and has supported youngsters in the community through the local boxing club, which is kept open through Martin’s efforts in raising funds, providing transport and ensuring many young men and women have a place for fi tness and sport.

Dionne is a hero in the eyes of customers at the Marksman due to the numerous things that she does to help care for them. As well as hosting a Boxing Day dinner funded by regular raffl es and race nights throughout the year, she also looks after customers who are ill, taking them to doctor and hospital appointments, and even recently set up TB screening for those living in the Leith area.


Tom & Sadie Tracey Tarry Ile Inverness


Tom and Sadie have been raising money with their customers for years and show no signs of losing the passion and enthusiasm for supporting causes close to their hearts. The Tarry Ile is a little bar with a big heart and Tom and Sadie work tirelessly to help regulars and those close to them through fundraising events like the Great Wilderness Challenge and the famous Tarry Ile Beauly bike ride.
