Hello & welcome to our November edition
At the time of writing this, we are coming to the end of the October holidays so talk will switch to Halloween. Bonfi re Night and then inevitably Christmas! Wow, this year is going so quickly (and I don’t think it’s all because of my age...)
A quick reminder about our writing competition. Closing date is the 1st December, so if you haven’t stretched your creative muscles yet, take advantage of the darker evenings to make some time. It’s said that we all have at least one story to tell and yours could be a winner!
I’ve also checked and there are a few remaining places for Tea@3 held at The Westlands on Sunday 3rd November. So if you’ve been meaning to catch up with a friend and not managed to fi nd the time, this event would be perfect.
Don’t forget to put the 28th November in your diary too. The High Street’s Christmas Extravaganza is back, bigger and better than before. Lots of shopping, festive treats and that special person with his reindeer!
December’s Christmas issue is always very busy so if you are organising an event, or have news to share, get in touch as soon as you can so that I can hold some space. Deadline will fall on the 12th November.
The latest magazine is also available to read online. Extra copies can be found at the Dunblane Centre and at local libraries and shops.
Enjoy the fi reworks display wherever you go and stay safe.
enjoy the magazine! Fiona
