Historic hotel full of charm and character T
If you’re looking for somewhere to while away a few hours this winter, then look no further than the wonderful Castle View Hotel, Chepstow...
his 17th Century pub and hotel oozes charm and character. From its roaring fires to the exposed beams,
if you’re looking for a true taste of the Wye Valley, then this is the place for you. Why not sample it and book for
Sunday lunch? Served from noon until 3pm every week the Castle View’s Sunday roast is possibly the finest for miles around. Enjoy a glass of wine in the sofa area
while perusing the menu which offers a number of main courses starting from just £9.95 for adults, and £4.50 for children. The traditional Sunday lunch meal consists of wonderful freshly roasted meats bought in locally from HJ Edwards Butchers, the most incredible cauliflower cheese and the freshest seasonal vegetables, also sourced locally. There’s an excellent wine list to accompany the menu, and the whole Sunday lunch experience is just lovely. Offering a selection of starters and
desserts also, and catering for all dietary requirements (there’s even gluten-free gravy on offer) reservations are strongly recommended. To make your reservation, call The
Castle View Hotel on 01291 620349. Sample menus are available online at
www.castleviewhotel.com and you can follow the hotel on Twitter @castleviewhotel.
