A few beauties to watch for It never ceases to amaze me what I see
as I travel throughout the area. There are more beautiful classics and customs than we could ever dream of hidden away in garages and special places. I happened across two of the most
powerful classics in the area, and WOW, are they special! I was parking my car in a Manotick
parking lot, and I saw this beautiful Corvette sitting by itself looking proud and menacing. So I headed over to take a look. But it pulled out with the throatiest rumble and was gone in a flash. Eventually I found the owner of this gem. Gerry Otley bought the car, a 1966

Corvette Stingray Coupe, four years ago in Tennessee. It had originally been purchased in Texas with a big block 427 cu. in., a Muncie 4-speed and a 3.36 rear action posi. While that kind of massive power
would be more than enough for most of us, it was not enough for Gerry. So he replaced the engine with an 8 litre (500 cu. in 455 hp). He has paid so much attention to detail that every dial works. Even the analog clock has been restored using digital technology. If you’re out at a cruise night and see
