Homes & Gardens Mid Kent Living Advertisement feature As the garden grows, so does the gardener

COLOURFUL, tolerant pots of geraniums, upright and trailing, line up smartly in their thousands on the benches of Staplehurst Nurseries. Fresh and abundant, the vast array of bedding and basket plants will add vigour and vibrancy to your garden this spring. A large collection of three- litre perennials, the beautiful black velvet petunia, overwintered alstroemeria, extravagant fuchsias and numerous varieties of bedding plants make Staplehurst Nurseries an exciting destination for any gardener. For all basket lovers, an instant garden is available in sizes 16", 14", 12" and 10" hanging baskets. The nursery could not let the Jubilee go uncelebrated and has thus grown red, white and blue petunia baskets.

As spring has sprung, it is an appropriate time for

Staplehurst Nurseries to open its doors on its latest venture, the addition of a stunning new farm shop and café next to the nursery. Opening at the end of June, the farmshop and café will offer a range of local and regional products, cakes and pastries made on site, artisan breads and a delicious range of deli products.

Staplehurst Nurseries are finally delighted to be able to offer its' customers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing coffee and delicious cakes made in their own farmshop kitchen. It seems a fitting time to celebrate the humble scone during the Jubilee celebrations and the farmshop will be busy making the best scones for cream teas. Do take the opportunity to visit the nursery which is situated in Clapper Lane, one mile north of Staplehurst railway station.
