August 11 & 12 Combined Ops Headcorn Aerodrome
Static displays of military vehicles and equipment locked in the time warp of the 1940s and WWII with not only the airfield, but the streets of Headcorn looking like a film set. Includes public parking, re-enactments, flying displays, and live shows.

September 8 & 9 Medieval Fair, Tonbridge Castle Travel back in time to witness the sights, sounds and smells of 15th century life. Watch medieval combat across the Bailey Lawn as fighters’ swords and armour meet and hear the stories of battles past. Free entry.
September 27 – 30 Music@Malling, West Malling
Music@Malling is an international festival of music that draws together the community with a programme of events and international artists to the historic town of West Malling. For 2012, Judith Bingham and Huw Watkins are resident composers and their music will be heard alongside Mozart, Mendelssohn and Chopin.
September 1 & 2 Mediterranean Weekend Hever Castle
The castle’s Italian Garden, designed to house William Astor’s remarkable collection of Roman and Renaissance statuary and sculpture, provides the perfect backdrop for the Mediterranean Weekend. Costumed historical interpreters will bring to life the Roman statues in the Italian Garden with short interactive plays, or try your hand at have-a-go Roman archery.
