Female Athlete of the Year Caroline Cadotte Caroline has been a dominant player for


many years on the national stage. She has made a significant contribution in each of the teams for which she played. She is passionate about the sport and takes the time to share her passion with her community. Despite all of her success, she remains an extremely humble player and always puts the pleasure of others before her own. Caroline has been a player of impact since her beginnings in Ultimate; most notably with Camelot, Storm and Odyssée. She was still a young player when Camelot won the 2006 CUC in the mixed division which gave them the opportunity to participate in the 2007 WUCC in Perth, Australia. In 2010, Caroline helped lead Storm to a 7 win and 3 loss record at the World Championships, 1st place at CUC and the USA Ultimate championships. By 2011, Caroline had joined Odyssey and had proven herself a valuable player achieving peak performance during the semi-final and finals, despite a knee injury. At the 2012 WUGC Women’s try-outs,


Caroline was one of many women who attended from Quebec and the only successful woman to make the team from her home Province. She quickly became a key player at Worlds in Japan helping the team achieve their quest for Gold. For the upcoming 2013 World Games in Cali, Columbia, she was once again the only woman to make the Canadian National team from Quebec.

Within the Ultimate community in Montreal, she has contributed to improving the level of play of recreational players and competitive players alike. She is on the Spirit Committee of the AUM, she participates in the women’s committee of the association and she is a mentor for league teams. In addition, she was a member of the organizing committee for the first junior camp organized by Odyssée that took place last summer. Caroline is a natural born leader of the
