HM: Your background encompasses Law, Architecture and Dressage, do you find this informs your work with Exceptio? All three have taught me the importance of discipline, this can be applied to life, lifestyle and work. It is one of the most fundamental requisites for anyone starting a business, let alone a luxury brand.
HM: Your cufflinks are quite ornate, what inspires these intricate designs? Exceptio’s cufflinks bring to the present some ancient techniques, for instance the Portuguese filigree has a huge heritage and tradition that comes from centuries ago. Personally I am not a big fan of thematic cufflinks, things like golf clubs, small animals, etc. I tend to mix and match my
HM: We’re all about London at Hotminute so we want to know, where are your favorite places in London to; i) get inspired: The Battersea Power station and the River Thames ii) shop: There are lots of places to choose from but if I had to choose, Dover St Market would definitely be my first choice, it is, in my mind, one of the most iconic places in London today. iii) relax with friends: Saatchi Gallery, Richmond Park and other London hidden gems like St. Katherine’s Docks and Primrose Hill with its privileged view overlooking London
