Hot One To Watch

There is no doubt that Afrobeats is HOT right now what with D’banj and Sarkodie repping it Stateside, the CEO dancers killing it on BGT and mainstream radio playing it just about every hour. One artist who will most definitely be the HOT one to watch over the next few years is Mr ‘The Thing’ himself…. ATUMPAN. HM’s E dons her small girl hat and gets a dose of the Talking Drum’s wisdom. ANYEEEEEEIIIII!!!!

HM: For those who don’t know please explain why you Frank Elinem Cobbinah aka Atumpan are one of the hottest Afrobeats artists out right now? Because I stay true to myself and I try to let my music represent where I come from. Oh and because I go hard on the beats!!!

HM: Another of your biggest hits ‘Bomeka’ has a seriously cool video but we want the hot scoop on the rumours…did it cost $10k or $30k? Well that rumour isn’t coming from me or my management. All I can say is, it was an

expensive and fun video to shoot but as for the exact figures…. I can’t tell you :).

HM: So what brings you to London town?

The major news is that I’ve signed with Ministry of Sound to re-record ‘The Thing’. I am also here for promotional purposes as well as making videos for my new music and
