Pet Therapy Dog Training This program is a course designed for dog owners looking to become Pet Therapy volunteers and is not a basic obedience class. The program is strictly designed to get an owner prepared to visit hospitals, hospices and assisted living facilities. Requirements: Dogs must have completed a basic obedience class, dogs must be at least one year of age, handler must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult, and dogs must have current vaccinations, current rabies vaccination and license. This class will lead you to full certification. Instructor: Ron Bevacqua, CPDT.
