Jazz A dance form full of rhythm, syncopation, passion, and life. Classes explore body isolations of the head, shoulders, rib cage, feet and arms, while encouraging individual expression. Jazz can be a powerful and percussive, or expressive and lyrical. Ever evolving, jazz dance is taught with the music of today together with the classical jazz of yesterday. CFDA parents will be allowed to observe class the first week of each month. Participants in this course are invited to participate in an optional performance at the end of the session - 5th Annual Rock theBeat (additional fees required). Music for Children Join us for an interactive and musical time with your child! Everybody sings and plays with rhythm instruments! Babies learn lap games, peek- a-boo & play drums. Kids dance and play with puppets, xylophones, drums and glockenspiels. Along the way, your child will experience social, cognitive and motor development. Toddlers enjoy a shortened version of the kids class, keeping them active and engaged. Class content changes each session. Optional $20 material fee payable to the instructor.
