Glee Camp This workshop is designed for students to improve their performance ability in show choir. Classes will focus on techniques in voice and acting while learning a number of popular Glee performance pieces. A $15 material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Musical Theater Camp Sing! Dance! Act! Laugh! Play! Your child will learn to become a ‘Triple Threat,’ a performer who can sing, dance, and act. Class will include voice, jazz, scene study, acting, and auditioning. Your child will also rehearse and participate in a brief performance at the end of the week. Anaheim Family YMCA Musical Theater Do you sing, dance, or act? Maybe you’re a triple threat and can do all three? Explore the world of performance and musical theater where everyone can be a star. Join this 8 week program and find out just what it takes to earn that standing ovation! Beginning Drums Has your child been begging to learn the drums? Now is the time to get them enrolled in this fun and energetic class! Students will learn the basics of drumming, rhythm, and beat. Piano Preparation Prepare your young musician for piano lessons without the expense of private lessons. Piano preparation will cover finger numbers, names and positions of keys, bass and treble clefs, pitch, shared middle C and C keyboard positions, hand and seating positions, rhythm, musical alphabet, measures, bar lines and coordination drills. This is accomplished with handouts, flash cards, games, rhythm instruments and musical examples. No keyboards are needed and no materials need to be purchased. Set your child up for piano success! Beginning Basics

of Guitar Beginners will be introduced to chord and note-reading, rhythm, and basic playing styles. Students will learn correct strumming techniques as well as how to tune the guitar. There will be lots of hands-on experience enabling students to play many songs right from the start. Enrollment is limited allowing plenty of individual attention.
