How to Apply


Bachelor’s Program Admissions Requirements Applicants to the bachelor’s degree in human services program must have a minimum of two years experience in human services, a high school degree (or its equivalent), and because our program is intended to be completed in 16 to 24 months of full-time enrollment, applicants should also be able to transfer in a minimum of 30 credits from a combination of credits earned at accredited colleges or through the School of Human Services’ experiential learning process.


Application Requirements: 1. Completed application form


2. $10 application fee (check or money order made out to Springfield College)


3. High school diploma or its equivalent 4. Official transcripts from all accredited colleges attended 5. Professional résumé 6. Interview with a faculty or staff member


7. Satisfactory writing sample (to be completed at the School of Human Services campus to which you are applying)


Master’s Program Admissions Requirements Applicants to the master’s degree in human services program must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, five years of experience in human services (paid or volunteer), and show the ability to succeed academically.


Application Requirements: 1. Completed application form


2. $40 application fee (check or money order made out to Springfield College)


3. Personal statement (Refer to the master’s degree application for instructions.)


4. Professional letter of reference that speaks to your skills and abilities in human services


5. Professional résumé


6. Proof of bachelor’s degree and official transcripts from all undergraduate colleges attended


7. Interview with a faculty or staff member
