Organizational Management and Leadership, 36 credits Develop leadership and progressive management skills to facilitate organizational change. Your classes include strategic planning, program evaluation, fiscal management, and staffing and supervision.

Community Counseling Psychology, 36 credits Extend your perspective on the impact and influence that the community and external social forces have on a person. You will develop an understanding of social and community systems within which people live and work, and build the skills necessary to intervene at various levels.


Community Counseling Psychology Concentration offered at campuses located in: Tampa Bay, Fla. and Charleston, S.C.


Mental Health Counseling, 60 credits Become a counselor who is prepared to meet the mental health needs of diverse communities in ways that promote change and social justice. The program stresses your development of self-awareness, empathic and empowering attitudes, and an understanding of a broad range of counseling principles and skills. The program, including practicum, meets the current education requirements for state licensure.

Executive Master’s Program

The executive master’s program has prepared more than 100 senior YMCA executives to lead their associations and branches toward creative change. YMCA executives find that their visions for the future and leadership capabilities are transformed while earning their master’s degrees. During the program, participants design and present action-research projects that will impact their YMCA communities.


• The curriculum is designed specifically for experienced YMCA professionals


• Generous tuition scholarships are available for all participants


• The 18-month program consists of four, two-week residencies every six months
