Whole food shop Ceres is holding two open days to celebrate 35 years in business. The events, being held on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March at its shop in Princes Street, Yeovil, will include free samplings and tasting sessions, special offers and vouchers only redeemable at the event, Goody Bags and at least one competition to win a hamper. Two dozen suppliers will also be in attendance to showcase their products. Food companies include Chirpy Cottage Kitchen, which makes a great range of handmade vegetarian and vegan pastries, sandwiches, flans and flapjacks and Bower Bakery, which produces handmade breads, flans, pasties, brownies and Eccles cakes.
