BUBBLE AND SQUEAK


EVER WONDERED WHAT TO DO WITH LEFT OVER BOILED POTATOES, CABBAGE, SPROUTS AND GREENS? WELL HOW ABOUT A QUICK AND VERY TASTY BREAKFAST OR LUNCH?


1 Start by chopping up an onion, 2-3 cloves of garlic, the cold cooked potatoes and whatever green leafy vegetables you have left over.


3 Tip in the potato chunks, stir and add a little more oil if it starts to stick, allow to heat through, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes and finally add the chopped cabbage, sprouts or greens, together with a little salt and pepper.


4 Cook for another few minutes until it is hot and serve with a salad.


LEMON AND CRANBERRY COOLER


Great for children's parties.


1 Make up half a jug of Rocks


2 Ask a grown up to help you heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the onion for a few minutes, and add the garlic, stirring all the time.


lemon squash then top up the jug with a cranberry juice drink. 2 Stir well, divide amongst the kids and share out the straws.
